- Have you trained as an Open Dialogue Practitioner?
- Are you wondering how to keep developing your skills and understanding of Open Dialogue?
- Have you met some situations that you find challenging?
- Would you value the opportunity to train alongside other Open Dialogue Practitioners in a supportive learning environment?
We offer a range of continuing professional development (CPD) workshops that will support you in your ongoing Open Dialogue/dialogic practice. We offer these periodically, online. You can also commission any of these for your team or organisation.
Over our years of Open Dialogue practice and supervision, certain topics come up again and again as challenges for practitioners. We have designed these workshops to address these challenges, and offer you dialogical ideas and practical supports to navigate them in your practice.
Topics we can provide CPD on include:
- Trauma-informed Dialogue
- Working with Stuckness in Open Dialogue
- Using Our Lived Experience in Open Dialogue
- Working with Polarisation in Open Dialogue
- Working with Open Dialogue in the Context of Psychosis
- Working with Hope and Hopelessness
- Family of Origin / Exploring Your Relational Networks (for Teams)
- Working one-to-one drawing on Open Dialogue/Dialogical Principles
Upcoming CPD Workshops
Using Our Lived Experience in Open Dialogue (3 days)
26 February, 27 February & 2 March 2026 (online)
Open Dialogue is an approach that asks us to meet humans as a human, with a thoughtful level of transparency and authenticity. Yet there is, at present, little guidance on how we might use our Lived Experience within the dialogues we have with those we are trying to support. This 3 day experiential workshop provides a valuable opportunity to reflect on one’s own Lived Experience and how we might use this to create a space for the diverse experiences of the networks we work with. For Open Dialogue practitioners who have attended at least a Foundation Training (1 year).
Working with Stuckness in Open Dialogue (3 days)
14, 15 & 16 April 2026 (online)
This course addresses the challenge of “stuckness” in Open Dialogue network meetings. Sometimes it’s the dialogue that feels stuck – we feel we are covering the same topics without a sense of new voices coming in. Sometimes it is the situation – either we or the network are questioning the pace of change, and feeling “stuck”. Often this can be a place where we question our practice or the practice of Open Dialogue. This workshop is here to help! For Open Dialogue practitioners who have attended at least a Foundation Training (1 year).
